This Privacy Policy explains how Binbox Games ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use AnotherPlayer ("the Software") and visit anotherplayer.com.
1. Data we collect
- Email address — collected by Paddle (our payment processor) when you purchase a Commercial license.
- License key — generated by us and stored in our database to validate your license.
- Install UUID — a randomly generated identifier (GUID v4) created on first install of the Software, stored locally in your settings file. This is not a hardware fingerprint; it is per-installation and resets on reinstall.
- Crash log — limited diagnostic information sent only when the Software crashes and you opt to send it.
We do not collect: name, address, phone number, IP geolocation, browsing history, contact list, microphone/camera input, files on your device.

- Email delivery (license key, important account notices)
- Payment record-keeping (legal/tax obligation)
- Crash diagnosis and software improvement
3. Sharing (processors)
We share data only with the following processors, strictly to provide the service:

5. International transfer
Your personal information may be transferred from the Republic of Korea to the United States (Cloudflare, Resend) and the United Kingdom (Paddle). Required disclosures per Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) Article 28-8:
- Legal basis: Performance of contract (license delivery) and legitimate interest (service operation).
- Data transferred: Email, license key, Install UUID, payment metadata.
- Recipient countries: United States (Cloudflare, Resend), United Kingdom (Paddle).
- Transfer date and method: Real-time, via HTTPS API calls during normal operation.
- Recipient name and contact: Cloudflare, Inc. (US) — [email protected]; Resend, Inc. (US) — [email protected]; Paddle.com Market Ltd. (UK) — [email protected].
- Purpose of use by recipient: Payment processing, hosting, email delivery.
- Retention by recipient: Per each processor's own privacy policy.
- How to refuse: You may refuse by not purchasing or using the Software; required for service provision.

6.a Rights for EU/EEA/UK residents (GDPR)
You have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15) — to know what data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16) — to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17) — to request deletion of your data.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) — to limit how we use your data.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20) — to receive your data in a portable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21) — to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Rights related to automated decision-making (Art. 22) — we do not make automated decisions with legal effect.

6.b Rights for California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
Notice: Binbox Games does not currently meet CCPA applicability thresholds (annual revenue under $26.625M, fewer than 100,000 California consumers, no sale of personal information). The rights below are provided for reference and will become effective if applicability thresholds are reached in the future.
California residents have the following rights:
- Right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold.
- Right to delete personal information.
- Right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information (see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information).
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.

6.c Rights for South Korean residents (PIPA Article 30)
- Right to access your personal information (열람권).

7. Cookies
The anotherplayer.com website uses only first-party functional cookies necessary for site operation. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics.
8. Children
The Software is not intended for use by children under 14 (Republic of Korea) or under 13 (United States, COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.
